Work sessions (during which items are discussed and not voted on) usually occur on the first Monday after the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm. Special meetings may be called for other times; see the events section of this website for the latest schedule.

Agendas, Videos, and Minutes
Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Videos are usually posted within two days of the meeting.  Minutes are posted after approval at a later meeting.

The City Council sets goals for itself and for City staff each year.

The Rosemount City Council is composed of the Mayor and four Council members. Rosemount is not divided into districts or wards; all Council members are elected by the entire City.

The State of the City
The Mayor of Rosemount delivers an address early each year on activities in the City during the past year and the Council's plans for the year ahead.  Mayor Droste delivered the 2016 speech on March 16.  It can be seen online and on government access cable television channels.
