Overview
Full details of this proposed project can be viewed in the feasibility report. This project includes the following proposed improvements:
- Mill and overlay 155th Street from Shannon Parkway to Chippendale Avenue
- Mill and overlay streets within the Carrollton Addition, north of 145th Street and west of Chili Avenue
- Mill and overlay Danville Avenue, from CSAH 46 (160th Street) to Upper 156th Street West
- Sealcoat selected streets throughout the City
Project Updates
Week of May 27
Milling is completed on both 155th Street West and Danville Avenue. Paving is scheduled for Thursday on 155th Street West and Friday on Danville Avenue (weather permitting). Sod restoration should be completed in both areas the week of June 3.
Week of May 20
Curb and gutter replacement is completed on 155th Street West. Curb and gutter replacement has begun on Danville Avenue and is expected to be completed this week. Utility castings will be adjusted in preparation for milling and paving. Milling and paving in both areas is tentatively scheduled for the week of May 28.
Week of May 13
Paving was completed in the Carrollton Addition. Curb and gutter was removed on 155th Street West Thursday and Friday.
Week of May 6
Construction will begin in the Carrollton Addition. Curb and gutter will be removed Monday and Tuesday. New curb and gutter will be installed Wednesday. Pavement milling expected on Friday.
Week of April 29, 2013
The project start date has been delayed due to the continuation of road restrictions. When the winter road restrictions expire, the contractor will begin construction in the Carrollton Addition.

- December 4, 2012: Public hearing
- February 22, 2013: Open bids
- April 2 or May 7, 2013: Award the contract
- Early May 2013: Road construction in Carrollton Addition
- Early June 2013: Road construction in O'Leary's Hill Addition
- Early July 2013: Road construction in West Ridge area
- October 31, 2013: Certify assessments with Dakota County
