New Residential Developments
1. Wilde Lake Estates
A 14-lot subdivision that features 2-acre lot minimums with their own well and septic. These lots are all builder of your choice. Future plans include the addition of a regional trail to connect Lebanon Hills Park to Downtown Rosemount.
Development has begun on the first phase of this 87-lot subdivision located on the west side of Highway 3 just south of 132nd Street. Amenities will include a pocket park and a trail to connect to Lebanon Hills Regional Park to the north and south to Downtown Rosemount.
The single family housing in Harmony was completed in 2014. There are 18 townhome units remaining to be built. 5. Bella Vista
Lennar is developing a 158-lot single family homes subdivision called Bella Vista located on the northeast corner Bonaire Path and Bacardi Avenue. The fifth phase of the development has begun. Bacardi Avenue was reconstructed in the summer of 2014 to accommodate the development. Bella Vista will contain a park along the southeast shore of Horseshoe Lake and a segment of the Rosemount Interpretative Regional Trail Corridor which will connect Downtown Rosemount with the Mississippi River.
Lennar is developing its final phases of the Greystone south of Bonaire Path and east of Akron Avenue (County Road 73). Approximately 100 lots remain available for development.
7. Prestwick Place
Brandl Anderson, Keyland Homes, and Ryan Real Estate have formed a partnership to construct single family homes located north of Connemara Trail and west of Akron Avenue (County Road 73). 150 lots are currently being developed. A 7-acre park is located just to the south of Connemara Trail and adjacent to the Falmoor Glen development.
8. St. Croix Home Builders
St. Croix Home Builders is constructing an 11-unit townhome development. The units will be located in three separate buildings surrounding a private street. For more information about this development contact Norm Dupre at (651) 303-0471
9. Rosewood Crossing
Construction has begun on this 225-unit apartment complex. Units will be housed in seven two-story buildings surrounding a central common area.
10. Prestwick CDA
The Dakota County Community Development Agency is developing workforce housing units on the southeast corner of 141st Street East and Akron Avenue. 40 townhouse units are planned for development. 11. Meadow Ridge
Lennar is developing a single family neighborhood on 70 acres located west of Akron Avenue and north of Bonaire Path. A future Dakota County Regional Trail will run through the site. Construction has begun on the initial 63 lots of this 153-unit development.
12. Caramore CrossingD.R. Horton is constructing a total of 177 units at the site north and west of the intersection of Akron Avenue and Bonaire Path. The development will include 130 traditional single family homes and another 47 detached townhome villas. A regional greenway trail will run through the development. D.R. Horton will begin construction of the first phase containing 74 units in the summer of 2019.
13. Prestwick Place Townhomes
Lennar is constructing two townhome developments in the Prestwick Place neighborhood east of Akron Avenue and south of the Greystone subdivision. The two developments will contain a total of 156 townhomes. The northern subdivision will contain 50 row-style townhomes, and the southern subdivision will contain 106 units in a combination of side-by-side and back-to-back townhomes. Construction is beginning in the summer of 2019.
