The Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State Business Services Division reviews, approves and files articles of incorporation and amendments for all businesses and nonprofit organization doing business in Minnesota. The division records assumed business names, limited partnerships, limited liability companies, and limited liability partnerships; accepts applications for legal newspaper status; and provides business data to the public in the form of lists, online access, subscriptions, and telephone inquiries. Online services include business name searches, business name filings, filing amendments or renewals, and ordering copies and certificates. Walk-in services include business filings certification orders, and authentication of documents for use in other countries. |
